1. Practice gratitude. Always be grateful for what you have. This is because practicing gratitude can have a big impact in our hope and happiness.
2. Give compliments. Giving someone a complement can really pay off in regard to your moods. Acts of kindness results in an increase in an overall life satisfaction.
3. Experience and go with the flow. Flow is a state where one is fully involved and absorbed in the present moment. in this state, one possesses intensive concentration, a loss of self-consciousness, and a sense of timelessness.
4. Savor the little moments. We can use our actions and thoughts to increase our appreciation of positive experiences and emotions, and the duration of them.
5.Exercise. Exercise plays a big role in improving our self-esteem and happiness. Strenuous exercise has been found to reduce stress, anxiety and symptoms of depression.
6. Get enough sleep. Sleep is very important to our mental health, but its deprivation kills our brain cells.
7. Choose foods that boost your mood. Eat healthy foods that will make you happy in the long run. Carbohydrates release serotonin, which is the key hormone responsible for stabilizing our moods and feelings of our happiness.
8. Work towards meaningful goals. Create a good mood that keep you going by pursuing something that you are passionate about.
9.Experience nature. Spending time outdoors can help lower your blood pressure and depression. Taking a walk outside a green environment increase our mood and decreases many negative thoughts that we have.
